Logo for Conestoga Colleg Continuing Education

Conestoga College's Volunteer Management Certificate Program is the only one in Canada with a national Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada (VMPC) partnership and has been running since 1984. The courses align with the accepted professional and program standards established by the VMPC, Volunteer Canada and the National Occupational Standards. This program provides the knowledge, resources and tools to be effective, creative and inspiring managers of volunteers. The skills and strategies acquired provide the foundation for supervisory or leadership roles in various professional sectors such as not-for-profit or community organizations, and hospitals and municipalities. It is strongly recommended that students have previous experience as a volunteer or working with or supporting volunteers. https://continuing-education.conestogac.on.ca/programs/volunteer-management
